His Excellency Mr. Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari, Minister of Finance, honored the Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) among the distinguished entities participating in the Annual Meeting of the State Procurement Program 2026, organized by the Ministry of Finance with broad participation from representatives of government agencies and the private sector. The meeting aimed to strengthen integration within the government procurement system and support national products.

Dr. Abdullah Mohammed Al Mansoori, Executive Director of Administration and Finance Directorate at PHCC, received the award in recognition of the Corporation’s efforts in developing the procurement system and reinforcing its commitment to the highest standards of efficiency, quality, and sustainability in the implementation of government contracts and projects.

This recognition underscores the Corporation’s prominent role in supporting the State’s efforts to strengthen reliance on national products and contribute to achieving the objectives of Qatar’s National Manufacturing Strategy 2024–2030 by implementing responsible procurement policies that promote transparency, competitiveness, and local value in government contracts.

The meeting, in its third edition, featured a presentation of several initiatives launched by the Ministry of Finance to develop the procurement system, including the Mandatory List of National Products Project and the Local Value Program, both of which aim to increase the private sector’s contribution to the national economy and enhance its sustainability.

This recognition reflects the State’s appreciation for PHCC’s commitment to the principles of transparency and sound management, as well as its continuous efforts to support the national procurement system and contribute to achieving sustainable economic development goals.
